Our seniors from Baptist Temple met at Old Fogies today at 11:00am. We had the best lunch and good time. We went to the back and put several tables together. A preview trip discovered the owner makes carrot cake. She made one for us and was ready when we arrived. The service was excellent and the food was too!! Best chicken salad and today’s homemade chicken noodle soup was wonderful. The Italian sub was huge and delicious . They close by 2:00pm so if you go allow enough time . We will be back for sure! Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
I'm giving this 5 stars because I had to walk to get my cash around the corner and back. I then proceeded to have the absolute most delicious chicken noodle soup in the whole country. Holy smokes was it homemade and delicious. Loved this place and coming back everytime I come to Burlington!

What a diamond in the rough, good fast service, small and homey,hidden in Burlington,simple menu,home cooked food .soup daily ,lots of choices on the menu....rest rooms clean.all homemade deserts...ice tea good
I was told this place would be great, and I was told correctly. The small town welcome and service was awesome. The food was fresh, delicious and almost more than I could eat. Service was above outstanding, and the waitress, well, she was great at her job... she tried to make us fatter by offering us homemade deserts. Met the owner and was impressed. Great bunch of people work here. I am looking forward to coming back to try other menu items.
The absolute best lunch experience i have had since Covid. It is almost impossible to get a trifecta for lunch. I had the chicken, egg and potato salad with fruit plate. Every single bite was excellent. We also had a smiling and friendly waitress.
Stop by on our way to Washington DC...great food, wonderful service!! Definitely a Gem in Burlington!!
